Saronsberg wine farm

Wordless Wednesday: Bronze Goat Family

One of the most beautiful wine farms we got to explore while touring the wine region of the Western cape province was Saronsberg, nestled in the Tulbagh Valley. We visited quite early in the morning so although we never got around to taste their wine we got to enjoy a great collection of South African art.

Saronsberg has a big collection of bronze statues and art work which they display either inside or outside against a backdrop of the mountain after which it is named.

The Tulbagh Valley is situated in the Western Cape Province 120km north-east of Cape Town, shaped like an inverted horse-shoe and surrounded by mountains on three sides. A unique setting in which to show case these beautiful art pieces.
