The weekly photos challenge is UP! While walking around we don’t often look up and see what the world above us has to offer! One of the places I always look up is when visiting a cathedral. Cathedrals always have so much detail hidden on the ceilings or archways that you would miss otherwise.
While on a weekend visit to York in England my first stop was at the York Minster cathedral. It is one of the largest Gothic Cathedrals in Northern Europe so I just had to visit it. This Cathedral took about 250 years to build and is renowned as an artistic and architectural masterpiece. Knowing this I took some time walking around the Cathedral to actually appreciate the detail and hard work that went into building this beautiful Cathedral.
This cathedral is definitely one of the most beautiful ones I have visited while in England!
