Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

This week’s photo challenge over at the Daily Post and it’s GREEN!

When I think green, the terraced rice-paddies in Vietnam immediately come to mind.  I lived in Saigon, Vietnam for a year and traveled up to Sa Pa in the North for a break.

I loved the terraced hills that were dotted all over the countryside.

Everything looked so fresh and clean after the morning rain.

  1. We were lucky enough to explore much of Vietnam last winter, but didn’t make it to Sapa. It looks like a such special spot – hopefully next time! I’m curious – what were you doing in Saigon for a year?

    • SaPa is definitely stunning, such a shame you didn’t get the chance to experience it. You have to put it on your must see list next time!! I taught English in Saigon for a year. I loved living in Vietnam, loved experiencing the culture and exploring the beautiful places it has to offer. I will definitely go back someday just to travel around.
